Territory Venues & Events

Territory Venues and Events manage three of Canberra's Premier sports venues—Canberra Stadium, Manuka Oval, and Stromlo Forest Park.

Canberra Stadium

Canberra Stadium is Canberra's Premier sports facility playing host to the famous CA Technology Brumbies and Canberra Raiders. With a seating capacity of over 25,000, it also hosts a number of minor community events and provides first-class function and conference facilities.

Manuka Oval

The Manuka Oval complex is centrally located five minutes from Parliament House, 10 minutes from the airport and across the road from the Manuka Shopping Centre.

Manuka Oval, Canberra's original cricket ground is host to National AFL matches, and the PM's XI. It also offers one of Canberra's most unique functions and events centres with The Bradman Room over-looking the historic field catering for up to 400 guests.

Stromlo Forest Park

After the 2003 bushfires destroyed Stromlo Forest the ACT Government Bushfire Recovery Taskforce was established to advise the ACT Government on recovery and act as a bridge between Government Agencies and the Community.

One of the recommendations of the Taskforce was to establish a world-class multi-use recreational sporting facility available to both recreational and professional users.

From this simple beginning, Stromlo Forest Park is now a one-of-a-kind community facility with exceptional infrastructure for a variety of users, with a purpose built event pavilion, Criterium cycling circuit, grass cross country running track, equestrian trails and mountain bike tracks to suit any level of rider.

ACT Community Motorsports Development Program

Territory Venues and Events have carriage for the delivery of projects associated with the ACT Government’s motorsport strategy; including the Community Motorsport Development Grants Program.
